By downloading, installing, or using Real Authenticator (the "App") or accessing the website at realauthenticator.app (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Real Authenticator ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Real Authenticator is a mobile application that enables users to:

• Create trusted connections with other users via invite links and QR codes
• Generate and share time-based one-time passwords (TOTP) for identity verification
• Authenticate securely using Sign in with Apple and biometric authentication

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Real Authenticator uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. By using this feature, you agree to Apple's Terms of Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at security@realauthenticator.app.

You agree to use Real Authenticator only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or malicious code
• Harvest or scrape data from the App or Site
• Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation

Real Authenticator offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's purchase terms.

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or as determined by Apple.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with reasonable notice.

The App, Site, and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software) are owned by Real Authenticator and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

THE APP AND SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. TOTP-BASED VERIFICATION IS AN ADDITIONAL SECURITY LAYER AND SHOULD NOT BE YOUR SOLE METHOD OF IDENTITY VERIFICATION FOR HIGH-STAKES SITUATIONS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REAL AUTHENTICATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Real Authenticator and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of the App or Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by sending a notification through the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
